Lexi, E-Commerce + Marketing Intern

Skin type: Normal/combination

From an early age, my mom ingrained in my head to NEVER go to bed without taking off your makeup and washing your face.

It’s been within the last couple of years that I really became interested in skin care to create a balanced and healthy routine while I’m young.

I get stressed very easily because college throws everything at you at once and I know this can do significant damage to your face when it comes to aging, which is super scary!

I can’t go without a great moisturizer (with SPF of course!) and a toner that balances and makes me skin feel smooth.

What I want out of my skin care routine is to age beautifully but naturally (wrinkles are fully embraced because it’s a sign of the ups and downs in your life) and to always have glowing skin!

S.W. Basics Toner $18

Toner has always been a part of my nightly routine and although it took me a while to break away from the toner I had been using since freshman year of high school (lol), once I switched to this I never looked back.

It helps even skin tone + clear up acne and does so with all natural ingredients (if you try this product, don’t mind the floaties- it’s just from the apple cider vinegar).

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentrè $12

I was so excited when they started selling this product in the U.S. since lots of celebrities rave about it! Karlie Kloss said this is where it's at...and I now know why!

I love how moisturizing it is, especially in the winter or when I travel. It fixes dry skin overnight + gives me a healthy, dewy complexion.

Valjean Labs Glow Facial Serum $15

I spent months searching for a Vitamin C serum that 1) doesn’t smell bad and 2) can make a difference fairly quickly.

Spoiler: this serum met both of those needs.

It’s also fairly cheap for a Vitamin C serum which is a plus

Beauty Counter No. 3 Balancing Facial Oil $68

This oil does wonders when it comes to dry skin during the winter.

It’s light and perfect for under other moisturizers; I would recommend putting this on at night because you wake up with soft, smooth skin (also some people might think it’s too oily to put on in the morning).

Glossier Haloscope $22

All Glossier’s products are amazing but this one is my favorite of all time!

If you want to achieve that perfect and easy glow around your brows and cheekbones, this is the perfect product!
