Vivian, Specialty Designer

Age: 23

Skin Type: Dry

I used to focus entirely on makeup but when I noticed that my foundation and overall longevity of my looks started to take a nosedive I shifted my attention to skin care. I have a pretty tight schedule (and love my sleep) so I tend to reach for products that do multiple things at once. The more a single product can do for me the better. My skin has recently transitioned from being combo to drier than the Sahara, so I’m still trying out new products but these are some of my favorites! P.S. These are best used with a cleansing and exfoliating routine.

Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture - $75

WARNING: This bad boy comes with a hefty price tag. My skin is pretty darn dry and this has been the only moisturizer that can whip it back into shape. It’s super creamy and leaves my skin feeling crazy soft and smooth.

It Cosmetics Miracle Water 3-in-1 Tonic - $38

Along with my dry skin, it can get pretty dull and blotchy. This legit miracle in a bottle is both a cleanser and an anti-aging treatment and leaves my skin radiant and glowy. I use this first thing in the morning to give my face a quick rinse right before my moisturizer, and at night after my cleansing routine.

It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ - $38

I’m looking out for all you dry skinned babes. I started noticing that a lot of my other foundations would just accentuate my dry patches and leave me looking scaly. With this gamechanger you can perfectly control how much coverage you want and still stay hydrated and have a glowy skin-like finish. Wow wow wow.

Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly - $22

An oldie but a goodie. I’ve been using Mac’s Paint Pot since middle school (I’m a ride or die type of gal) and it’s the only eyeshadow primer that comes through for me. I can put this under the crummiest eyeshadow and still walk away with a banging look that isn’t budging.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner- $20

Listen, I didn’t believe the hype at first. I was convinced that my drugstore felt pen eyeliner performed just as well as Kat’s. I was dead wrong. This eyeliner will stay with you all night, but comes off with ease when you take your face off and slide into those comfy pants. I personally get best results when I have a little bit of primer and eyeshadow on my lid first.
