Don't want a 10-step skincare routine? Would you rather get 10 extra minutes of sleep than worrying about how to layer a million products?

Our brand director, Daisy, is sharing her heavy-hitting skincare items that are super effective, so she doesn't need 100 different products to get perfect skin (swear, she comes to work with glowing skin + no need for foundation!)

Keep reading to find out which products Daisy can't live without! Please note that we may collect a small share of sales from the links on this page at no extra cost to you, to help fund snack reviews and other fun things!

Daisy, Director of Brand Development & Digital Media

Age: 25

Skin Type: normal/combination

I tend to be a minimalist when it comes to makeup/routines and am lucky to have mostly normal skin to make that possible! (FYI I also hydrate a lot, don’t eat much junk food or sugar, which is key.)

I go without foundation most days (mascara and brows are the only must for me!) so my items are mostly skin care.

My biggest concerns at this point are preventing aging, enlarged pores and dull skin.

I grew up on a farm and no one ever put a lick of sunscreen on me, so sometimes I’m just like, why start now? So whatever the product is it needs to multitask or be simple. (That was a long anecdote that basically boils down to me being tired af & lazy)

I started experimenting when I graduated college and had a quarter life crisis that when something like;  “Wow do I just work, grow old and die now??? Let me try to prevent that with serums!!” (PS I love my job so don’t panic if you’re still in college, turns out, I was being dramatic.)

So far, these are the products I see real results with and can’t put down.

Drunk Elephant TLC Framboos Glycolic Night Serum $90

My gateway drug to skin care. I’d been experimenting with tons of samples, got one of the TLC and my new baby face never looked back. I buy it as my Christmas gift every year in one of their gift sets to get more for my money!

Glossier Cloud Paint in Dusk $18

I LOVE the color and texture. For me it doubles as eyeshadow, blush and a slight contour. Five minute morning routine friendly.

Mario Badescu drying lotion $17

MAGIC. Whenever I get a pimple or feel oily, I spot treat with this overnight and poof! I have the mini bottle- a little goes a long way.

Dr. Dennis Gross acid peel $88

Also magic. This product completely renews my skin like I went to a spa. I use it about once weekly or if I have a special event. I’ve heard there are cheaper alternatives but I haven’t tried them out yet.

Thayers Alcohol-free Rose Petal Witch Hazel with Aloe Vera  $7

Simple, but a must. It noticeably tones and soothes my skin. When I run out I can tell my skin isn’t as balanced and harder to keep clear and or hydrated.
