All of us at Femfetti love Bath and Body Works. Whether we're buying their mini hand sanitizers in bulk (guilty) or smelling all the new fall scents, we L O V E making sure every corner of the office has some sort of Bath and Body Works product.

So, when we heard that they were having a sale on their three-wick candles the group chat started POPPING and orders were placed ASAP.

While ordering these candles, I realized that reading about a candle scent is very different than actually smelling it. So, this intrepid author decided to take on the arduous task of lighting all the candles we ordered and ranking them on a scale of one to ten based on smell, longevity and how ~aesthetically~ pleasing it was.

Keep scrolling to find out how all the candles we ordered measured up!

In-Tents Coffee

Notes: Campfire roasted coffee, vanilla crème and sprinkle of sugar.

As soon as I lit this one I thought someone had shoved coffee grounds right up my nasal passage, it was that aromatic. As it burns, the coffee scent gives way to the sweetness of sugary vanilla. Reminds me of bonfires with good friends, gazing at the night sky and eating smoky marshmallows.

Rating:9/10 gr8 candle, would have ranked higher but made me hungry for smore's and we had NONE in the office. A tragedy.

Leaves

Notes: Crisp red apple, golden nectar and warm clove spice.

This candle reminds me of the sweetness of taking a first bite of a fresh picked apple. As the sweetness of the apple burns away, the earthiness of the clove comes through. Reminds me of stepping in a pile of sun dried leaves and the spiciness of homemade cider.

Rating: 12/10 would burn this candle instead of just burning a pile of leaves because apparently it's a "fire hazard" or something.

Cranberry Woods

Notes:Tart cranberry, cinnamon bark, forest cedar and golden amber.

This candle is NOT kidding around when it comes to cranberries. As soon as we lit it, it smelled like Thanksgiving which caused us to push lunch up by two hours. The initial tartness fades as the rich tang of cedar burns through. Reminds me of afternoons fading into evenings and curling up with a good book by the fire.

Rating:11/10 *slaps the top of this candle* this bad boy can fit so many cranberries into it.

Evening Hearth

Notes: Cedar kindling, mug of warm cider and cozy cashmere throw.

My initial qualm with this candle was, how the hell do you get the scent of a cashmere throw into a candle? Did they shred a real cashmere throw to scatter its remains into it? I'm still unsure but this is the coziest candle I've smelled in my twenty three years of existence. Reminds me of snow falling on pine trees and warming your hands around a mug of hot cider.

Rating: 13/10 whatever witchcraft they perform to get that throw in there keep it up.

Harvest Gathering

Notes: Fresh picked apples, autumn berries and clove buds.

This candle smelled fresh to DEATH. It starts off bright, like a crisp autumn morning. As it warms up, apple falls away to reveal the cloves, like the sun cutting through the fog. Reminds me of sunlight streaming through yellow leaves, wrapping a scarf around you as you head out the door.

Rating: 10/10 would buy more just because the fox on the candle is so damn cute.

Vanilla Pumpkin Marshmallow

Notes: Creamy vanilla, pumpkin spice, homemade marshmallow and drizzled caramel.

This candle is the equivalent of walking into a candy store. The initial scent of vanilla is grounded as the pumpkin spice cuts through to create a scent that's sweet but not cloying. Reminds me of overindulging on Halloween candy.

Rating: 10/10 would buy the candle or if they turned it into candy I would buy it in bulk to feast on while I binge watch Brooklyn 99.

Flannel

Notes: Fresh bergamot, heirloom mahogany and soft musk.

ARE YOU GUYS READY TO TALK ABOUT LIFE CHANGING CANDLES. This candle smells like what I imagine Chris Evans smells like so this one wins. Hands down. Reminds me of a burly, outdoorsy, sensitive bearded man wearing flannel, coming to deliver coffee to me in bed and won't mansplain to me.

Rating: 100/10 I've already added 12 of these to my cart.
